My attempt at balancing the Beasts & Cavalry Space Wolves list at 1500pts. I was originally trying to fit a Jump Pack Canoness with a Book in there so's the Wolves would get Stubborn Ld10 with rerolls from the TWC, but opted for 2 Lascannons in the end. The Canoness (or more Wolves) would probably be a better choice, but whatever.
Notable things are a lack of mobility in the scoring units, which I reckon you could counter simply by having so much shite on the board. Also the Long Fangs being your only source of long-range shooty is not a great thing in Dawn of War. Tank Shocking and vehicle-spam in general will be a problem, Lootas will likewise be a pain in the arse and Deffrollas will murder you. You should be able to walk over stuff like Bikes or Mechdar with it though. Well, if you ignore the lack of psyker protection...
Myself, I don't like it. Too many holes. I'm trying desperately hard to make a proper 13th Company list without resorting to vanilla units like Speeders and Dreads, but it's a real struggle; Long Fangs are an awesome replacement for Dakka Preds but apart from them you really haven't got much else in terms of "teh sh00ty", which you do need in some form or another if you're going to be able to influence the game from turn 1. I wish Long Fangs or Wolf Guard Terminators got Autocannons like Chaos do, then the problem would solve itself :(
